While there are 1000s of loads available through the CloudTrucks app, we know that some drivers prefer to book loads from brokerages not currently available through our search. We absolutely encourage this! In order to ensure that we can process these loads quickly, please follow the steps below for each respective product category.


Virtual Carrier:

  • Send Rate Confirmations & Carrier Packets to rates@cloudtrucks.com

    • Please have your broker email the rate confirmation to CloudTrucks. Rate Confirmations forwarded to us by the driver may not be valid.

  • Broker must indicate who the load is for. Preferred methods of the broker communicating this to us are:

    • Driver Name and Phone Number listed on the Rate Confirmation

    • Driver Name listed in the text of the email

    • Driver Email cc’ed by the broker

    • Users will need to provide the broker the CloudTrucks MC number: 1046672

  • Submit the external load information in the mobile app - the button is located at the top right corner of the job list page

    • Enter broker’s name, pickup & delivery information, dates, and wait for our confirmation

      • The job will be listed as "Booked Externally" on the job list page, and once it is confirmed, the status will change to "Upcoming”

  • Virtual Carrier customers must have rate confirmations signed by the CT Operations Team in order for them to be valid.

  • Carrier Packet requests follow similar guidelines. Please have the broker indicate who requested the Carrier Packet in the email.

  • Reminder: CloudTrucks reserves the right to not work with any particular broker. When completing the carrier packet, CloudTrucks checks the credit of each potential broker. If the broker does not meet our credit standards, we cannot work with them. Additional details regarding broker requirements listed here.

  • List CloudTrucks as the Main/Dispatch Contact. While a broker should have your contact information for the load, it is crucial that we are listed as the main contact using

  • Restrictions:

    • Virtual Carrier Users cannot haul alcohol in some states (AR, CT, DC, MD, NJ, NY, WV), hazmat loads, tanks, reefers, and high value loads.

      • High value loads include any commodity $300,000 cargo insurance limit required, electronics, cigarettes, some alcohol loads, and etc.

    • Team and flatbed loads are available once you are approved by CloudTrucks. Please reach out to the operations team (support@cloudtrucks.com) if you are interested in team or flatbed loads.


Flex:

    • Complete your carrier setup with the broker you are trying to book a load from if you haven't already done so

    • Please have your broker email the rate confirmation to CloudTrucks. Rate Confirmations forwarded to us by the driver may not be valid.

  • Broker must indicate who the load is for. Preferred methods of the broker communicating this to us are:

    • Driver Name and Phone Number listed on the Rate Confirmation

    • Driver Name listed in the text of the email

    • Driver Email cc’ed by the broker

    • Flex customers will need to provide your own MC number as you are using your own authority

  • Submit the external load information in the mobile app - the button is located at the top right corner of the job list page

    • Enter broker’s name, pickup & delivery information, dates, and wait for our confirmation

      • The job will be listed as "Booked Externally" on the job list page, and once it is confirmed, the status will change to "Upcoming”

For last minute load bookings:

We know that last minute loads can be extra profitable & need immediate attention. To accommodate your request, please do the following:

  1. 1 Hour Processing - let the broker know there’s a centralized dispatch team that can take up to 1 hour to process an urgent carrier packet.

  2. Text or Call Ops - "URGENT Last Minute Load" along with your Pick Up & Delivery Location, Delivery Date & Brokerage Name to help us prioritize and move it to the front of the queue.
